Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to support the Global Corporate Responsibility (GCR) team in our Corporate Office at our Falls Church, Virginia location.
As a key member of the Northrop Grumman Corporate team, the Executive Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative and organizational support to multiple executive team members, including the GCR Vice President.
The ideal candidate is experienced, flexible, pro-active and highly detail-oriented, with strong time-management skills and a desire to develop new skillsets.
This position requires the Executive Administrative Assistant to perform advanced administrative duties with exposure to sensitive information necessitating tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment. Strong integrity is essential, and the candidate must be comfortable working in a high-energy, collaborative, diverse, and professional environment with all levels of management and external partners
Roles and responsibilities of the Executive Administrative Assistant will include (but are not limited to) the following:
Providing administrative support to several executives simultaneously.
Handling details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
Facilitating program meetings, executive meetings, and external partner visits, including scheduling and coordinating all logistical support.
Collecting and preparing information for use in discussions/meetings with executive staff, external partners and other individuals.
Preparing the agenda and presentation materials for GCR leadership meetings.
Making executive domestic/international travel arrangements and preparing expense reports.
Managing and maintain multiple Outlook calendars.
Exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Working within the broader corporate team to manage larger projects.
Assisting events and activities for major organization initiatives.
Working closely with other Executive Leadership Team Administrative Assistants.
Developing a working relationship with key business sector contacts.
Operating independently to meet requirements of the leadership team and offering expertise to assist other functions within organization.
Generating and compiling reports.

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field or Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field.
Understand the sensitive nature of working in an executive office and have good judgement, problem-solving skills and can maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple administrative projects and initiatives
Demonstrated ability to interface with executive level contacts and experience supporting a variety of executive levels, management level and administrative support within an organization.
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Experience with Concur (or similar) travel and expense reporting system.
Experience proofreading and correcting documents for grammatical errors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman’s specific systems (SAP, Concur, Facilities requests, Employee Services Portal, IBUY, etc.).
Knowledge of NGC resources, policies, and procedures.
Ability to compile, review and analyze data.
Salary Range: $74,900.00 - $124,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
