Executive Assistant, Entertainment Tonight

    

Overview and Responsibilities

Entertainment Tonight is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Producer. The ideal candidate will have superior organizational and communication skills; be highly motivated and meticulous; and can remain calm under pressure. Job responsibilities include standard assistant duties, team coordinating, and other department administrative needs. This position requires work on multiple tasks and projects at the same time, in a fast-moving, high-energy and ever-changing production environment.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage complex scheduling and coordinate meetings with internal and external parties using multiple calendars, and anticipating potential conflicts in advance Maintain contact lists, meeting attendee email groups and meeting agendas Coordinate travel schedules and arrangements for both international and domestic travel Prepare, process, and track expense reports Compose routine e-mail correspondence, ensuring timely and effective communication Assist other senior leaders, as necessary Plan and prepare meeting rooms/meetings with internal teams and third parties Provide additional office support Circulate timely information and materials to the appropriate parties Research potential projects and upcoming meeting participants Be on site to assist EP and help with production needs Run errands as requested

 

Basic Qualifications: Working knowledge of production operations Fluent in navigating Google docs, Outlook, and Zoom Additional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or other film/television-related experience preferred Demonstrate initiative by expertly self-starting tasks that ensure the day runs smoothly Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Approachable style and ability to effectively and professionally work with high level executives, staff, and business associates both internal and external Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and organize various projects while maintaining excellent follow through and delivering efficient results Strong people skills, demonstrate ability to work on a team and willingness to give assistance to co-workers in other areas Must handle department business with the utmost confidentially A positive approach while working in a rapidly changing business environment A strong interest in entertainment news

Hiring Salary Range: $22.00 - 25.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
