Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. Maintains a professional image and provides excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, leaders, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Works under the direction of the Vice President and DIO of the GME Office. Manages all duties as assigned, including but not limited to: Administrative support and calendar management Manages daily schedules aligning with current priorities and deadlines Manage timecards Schedule meetings across all levels internally and externally Room reservations and catering as needed Coordinates travel and hotel arrangements Confirm reservations; prepares and submits all approval forms and expense reports for reimbursement Draft and send correspondence on behalf of management Reviews processes and procedures to reduce administrative burden on residents/fellows and improve efficiency of Graduate Medical Education Team. Acts as a liaison to the GME Office Assists with the system-level onboarding processes for incoming residents Manages all aspects of graduation certificates; drafts, printing, signature, scanning and archiving Manages all GME Office supply purchasing Performs functions necessary to ensure efficient daily operations of the Graduate Medical Education Office. Knowledge of the principles, policies and procedures of the GME Office Manage incoming phone calls Receives, prepares, and interacts with confidential information of a sensitive nature with the utmost discretion Planning and coordinating special events Meeting minutes Organizes the quarterly Graduate Medical Education Committee Meetings Maintains an updated list of members Collects items for the meeting agenda Sends out meeting invites and documents Confirms with speakers, reminds presenters, and records attendance Records and reports out GMEC meeting minutes in a timely fashion

Qualifications/Training:
Minimum Experience: 3 years of related work experience providing support to management level staff. Required skills and/or experience: Extensive communication skills both verbal and written, problem solving and organizational skills, conflict negotiation skills, advanced clerical skills with emphasis in resource management, ability to ensure confidentiality, and very strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet platform management systems
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
Education Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, or business; and/or commensurate experience in an Executive Assistant Role will be considered.
