The Role:
We are looking for a well organized and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support our Director of Silicon/RF/Modem. The successful candidate must be able to communicate well with a positive team environment and take swift, effective action whilst proactively solving complex problems with little to no guidance. The position requires the ability to work successfully within a fast-paced team environment, build effective working relationships, maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization and become the “go-to” person for support activities. Ability to handle confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with Leadership Team Members.
A day in the life:
- Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
- Can adopt and embrace Amazon Leadership principals
- Manage domestic and international travel and outlook calendars for two directors
- Manage Space Management for 4 sites (Austin, Redmond, Sunnyvale, San Diego)
- Manage expense report coordination and submission
- Work closely with the leadership team, program managers, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
