GENERAL PURPOSE

Under minimal supervision, independently performs advanced, diversified and confidential administrative and project management support activities for senior executive leaders. May assist one or more executive leaders in a staff capacity by handling a wide variety of situations involving administrative office functions, relieving executive leaders of administrative detail. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a highly confidential and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Effectively and professionally interacts with a variety of internal and external people at all levels of the organization.

Handles multiple project and administrative tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Anticipates and manipulates outcomes for continuous improvement. Continuously learns.

Maintains and updates administrative records; processes and tracks expense information related to leader/department activities; process purchase orders.

Operates standard office equipment, personal computers utilizing standard and advanced office automation software, and mobile telecommunication tools.

Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, complex, international travel arrangements, and meetings and related set up arrangements.

Screens telephone calls, visitors and correspondence of a highly critical business nature; resolves routine and complex inquiries as appropriate.

With the highest degree of accuracy and detail, prepares routine and non-routine correspondence, memoranda, reports, material for presentations and other documents as appropriate. May compose some documents for executive review and approval.

Works with highly confidential and proprietary information.

Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

5-7 years administrative support experience with a minimum of 1 supporting executive level positions

Skills and Abilities

Excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills; written and verbal communication skills

Excellent personal computer skills and knowledge of office automation, software, communication, and tools currently used in the Geiger office environment.

Proven experience handling detailed work in an independent, professional and confidential manner

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in time critical situations

Demonstrated ability to be flexible in conducting work activities under continually changing schedules and business conditions.
