Shine Early Learning (Shine), established in 2009, was created to scale the dissemination and utilization of Acelero Learning’s proven tools and approaches through partnerships to other Head Start programs nationally. In the past three years, Shine has further diversified its offerings through training, technical assistance, and consultation to publicly funded early childhood systems, including the launch of SPARK Learning Labs.

The Purpose of the Role:
The Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Acelero Learning South Carolina will provide project management, technical, and administrative support to the senior leadership team for the delegate. This position is a critical nexus of support, coordination, and administrative cohesion for our Acelero Learning South Carolina team.
What You’ll Work On:
+ Performs daily administrative duties such as answering and screening telephone calls, taking messages, sorting and distributing incoming mail and faxes, copying and collating, and other routine duties necessary to assist senior personnel and departmental management.
+ Prioritizes projects delegated by a variety of staff to accomplish tasks in the time frame specified and at a high level of quality.
+ Develops systems to effectively organize information and provides it to others as needed.
+ Communicates information in minutes, e-mail, memos and other written and verbal correspondence, drafts and edits correspondence, reports, forms, charts, memos, and other documents.
+ Assists in the preparation of meeting agendas and materials, distributes such items in advance to members within agreed upon time frames.
+ Ensures that all reports, records and assigned Master Binders are maintained accurately and promptly.
+ Greets and assists visitors in a courteous and helpful manner.
+ Oversees the operation of various office machines to include copier, computer, fax, phone and mail machine.
+ Files, stores, and destroys old records as instructed.
+ Coordinates purchase requisitions and maintains vendor relationships.
+ Manages inventory and distribution of office supplies for Headquarters.
+ Maintains proper documentation of all expenditures for reimbursements, petty cash, and purchase orders (e.g. receipts, boarding passes).
+ Processes check requests and tracks completion of all requests to ensure that all invoices and employee requests are completed accurately and timely.
+ Manages petty cash system by distributing petty cash to employees as needed and ensuring s ufficient funds for all requests in accordance with fiscal policies and procedures.
+ Reviews volunteer paperwork.
+ Maintains the confidentiality of correspondence, documents, discussions, meetings, telephone calls, and staff and family information.
+ Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required.
About You (Requirements/Competencies)
+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred; PHR, SHRM-CP or an equivalent certification preferred. Associates Degree in related field required
+ A minimum of three years (3) years of Human Resource experience required. Human Resources Generalist background preferred with some experience in the areas of recruiting, employment, compensation, benefits, organizational development, employee relations, and learning and development
+ Prior experience working in Head Start or early childhood education or related field a plus
+ Bilingual language skills preferred
+ Ability to support the mission, vision, and values of Acelero/Shine Early Learning and abide by applicable standards of conduct, policies and procedures.
+ Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
+ Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple priorities. Demonstrated attention to detail and maintaining the highest degree of • accuracy is a must.
+ Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
+ Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.

Salary: $32,819 Annually
