Executive Assistant

      

Executive Assistant responsible for providing advanced administrative support to two Thrivent VPs (VP, Client Insights & Strategy and VP, Growth and Generosity Strategic Planning and Operations). Areas of responsibilities include handling communications, maintaining executive’s schedule and calendars, assisting with inbox and due date management, coordinating and supporting meetings, conferences, presentations, and travel. Composes correspondence, prepares reports and presentation materials, and provides project support.

**This position will work in the Minneapolis Corporate office as needed

         

          

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Organizes and coordinates executive's schedule by maintaining calendars, arranging and scheduling meetings, conferences, travel, expense reports and presentations Handles inquiries, greets visitors, responds to information requests, and composes correspondence (often of a confidential nature) Relieves VP of routine administrative details, including data compilation and analysis  Prepares meeting agendas and briefings, maintains meeting notes, and arranges for implementation of action items Prepares presentation materials and spreadsheets to produce high quality reports, presentations, and other documents Supports and/or administers projects or processes for division/department Collaborating among Executive Assistants in Growth & Generosity to bring more consistency and share best practice   Maintains and promotes strong business relationships with key stakeholders in support of leadership objectivesProactively anticipates support needs and offers solutions


Required Job Qualifications

5 or more years of administrative/secretarial experienceTwo-year degree from business or vocational school desiredAdvanced business computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to write business correspondence clearly and concisely, using correct grammar, vocabulary, punctuation, and spellingAbility to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines and maintain a high quality of workAbility to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $26.65 - $36.05 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
