Executive Assistant
Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Executive Assistant in our law firm client, located in Silver Spring, Maryland. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for providing comprehensive support to our partners, managing confidential information, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position is best suited for someone with a keen interest in employment discrimination law and a strong background in administrative roles within a law firm. Responsibilities: • Manage the email correspondence of the President, ensuring efficient and professional communication. • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain the highest level of confidentiality. • Keep track of billable time, using appropriate billing software for attorneys. • Provide support to partners and occasionally to other attorneys. • Manage the firm's calendar, ensuring it is kept up-to-date with all relevant appointments and deadlines. • Communicate on behalf of the President, exercising discretion and responding with professionalism. • Ensure that the President is well-prepared for meetings, providing all necessary information and materials in advance. • Use your knowledge of corporate secretarial functions to streamline administrative processes. • Apply your understanding of civil rights litigation, employment law, and employment discrimination to assist in various tasks. • Utilize your skills in calendar management and commercial litigation to support the firm's operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role in a law firm is required • Proficiency in Billing Functions and Billing Software for Attorneys • Proven experience in Calendar Management • Familiarity with Corporate Secretarial Function • Knowledge of Employment Law and Employment Discrimination • Experience in Commercial Litigation and Civil Rights Litigation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
