Executive Assistant

Executive Assistants (EAs) provide administrative support. Role holders will exercise confidentiality, tact and diplomacy skills and will actively participate in meetings. They may also oversee small projects and have some decision-making authority/autonomy. EAs will support up to 5 leaders.

As our Executive Assistant you will:

Manage executives’ schedules, maintain calendars, arrange travel and accommodation, prepare expense statements, and perform other various administrative dutiesCoordinate activities, events, resources, meetings, services and manage internal and external stakeholdersSupport administration, compose presentations, draft reports and assist with key documents, such as business plansManage external relationships and service providersAdhere to HSBC policies and maintain confidentiality on sensitive informationWork in our New York City office and maintain an in-office presenceMulti-task in a fast-paced environment and use sound judgment to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $78,700.00 and $118,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

Experience working in the financial services industry is preferred, but not required to be successfulAt least 5 years of experience working with various level managers and executives in an administrative capacityUniversity degree or equivalentAdvanced knowledge in MS Office, calendar/meeting management, travel booking/itinerary managementExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to anticipate executive needs as well as operate independently and handle majority of responsibilities without consultationExcellent organizational skillsExcellent knowledge of various computer applications including Teams, SharePoint, Zoom and othersAbility to deal with all levels of personnel in a courteous and efficient manner and exercise discretion on confidential mattersExcellent customer service resourceful and problem-solving skills
