Axient is seeking a Executive Assistant to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.
What you will do... Provide high-level administrative support to a senior Army leader, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and enabling the leader to focus on strategic initiatives.Responsibilities include managing the senior leader’s calendar by scheduling meetings, appointments, and conferences, preparing agendas, itineraries, and coordinating travel arrangements per Army policies.Handle correspondence by drafting, reviewing, and distributing communications and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including military personnel, government officials, and industry partners.Screen and prioritize incoming communications to optimize the senior leader’s time and foster effective communication within the team and across units. Oversee operations and maintaining records and files compliant with Army regulations.Assist with research, report preparation, and presentations for initiatives led by the senior leader, coordinating with staff to meet project milestones and deadlines.Handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality, and professionally representing the senior leader within the Army and external organizations.Strong organizational and time-management skills, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under pressure are essential.This position offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the mission and success of the U.S. Army by providing essential support to a senior leader.
