**Responsibilities**
**A&AS –** **CTR Director’s Executive Assistant**
This position serves as the Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Executive Assistant for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Directorate’s executive leadership. CTR supports U.S. national security by preventing the acquisition, proliferation, and use of WMD, related materials, technologies, and expertise. The cooperative nature of CT's efforts contributes to stability, cooperation, and expanding U.S. influence in partner states and their regions.
The CT Director’s Executive Assistant supports the DTRA CTR Director as part of the Director’s Action Group (DAG). Responsibilities for the position include direct support to the CTR senior leadership, as well as coordination with CTR senior leadership and Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) leadership.
**DUTIES**
+ Perform a variety of administrative and technical support tasks to ensure the Directorate Director has the required information to make decisions based on complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
+ Act as a liaison between Director and staff.Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CTR Director, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature.
+ Ensure availability of necessary reference materials for guidance in matters to be discussed, such as: directives, policy decisions, reports, technical and legislative material, and other backup materials, as required, to facilitate decision making.
+ Create, modify, and analyze, as required, the administrative operations and processes to ensure all actions procedures, correspondence, and instructions are effective and coherent.
+ Exercise control over appointments with authority for commitment of time, forecasts potential requirements, de-conflicts problems, and plans and projects time for historically recurring requirements.
+ Prepare travel itineraries, make reservations, notify the Protocol Office, prepare trip books in coordination with the Director's Action Group, and submits necessary security clearance information.
+ Answer telephones, manage multiple calendars/schedules, properly handle classified materials, appropriately interact with agency personnel, using agency automated tools and systems, and complying with all facets of Agency policies and procedures.
+ Conduct functional administrative activities such as arranging travel, setting up distinguished leader visits, creating/reviewing memorandums and other documents and manage signature requests for packages as appropriate.
+ Provide expert advice, recommendations, and assistance in all functional administrative areas which will have an impact Directorate wide.
+ Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect the CTR Director’s style and organization policy.
+ Work closely with the CTR Director to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
+ When necessary, coordinate requests and projects with other DTRA CTR executive and administrative assistants.
+ Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree and 5 years; or master’s degree and 3 years; or associate degree and 8 years
+ Eleven (11) years of relevant experience and high school diploma may be considered in lieu of a degree
+ Significant executive support experience, including supporting senior leadership
+ Experience supporting SES or General Officer level/rank in an organization size of 300+ Proficiency with complex Microsoft Outlook calendar management
+ Experience arranging business travel and managing business expenses
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
+ DoD SECRET clearance or higher, or ability to obtain a U.S. clearance

+ High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including directors, department leads, and overseas staff.
+ Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
+ Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
+ Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
+ Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
+ Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work on multiple projects which includes prioritizing, tracking, attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through to project completion.
+ Flexibility/adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Candidates with a Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret/SCI clearance are preferred.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
**Posted Salary Range**
USD $84,700.00 - USD $132,325.00 /Yr.
