Executive Assistant
Description Robert Half is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support a local government entity in Richmond, Virginia. As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless workflow of the office while assisting senior leadership in managing daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for senior management, handling communications with internal and external stakeholders. Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing appointments, and coordinating logistics for in-person and virtual engagements. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other essential documents with accuracy and professionalism. Organize and maintain confidential files and records while ensuring compliance with government policies and procedures. Plan and coordinate events, meetings, and travel arrangements for executive staff. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels, demonstrating a high degree of discretion and integrity. Monitor and follow up on deadlines, ensuring that key projects and tasks are on track. Requirements Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in an executive assistant or administrative support role, preferably in a government or public sector setting. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, public administration, or a related field is a plus. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office management tools. Exceptional organizational and time management skills to effectively juggle multiple tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
