Executive Assistant I, SPS PXT
Description The Selling Partner Services PXT (SPS PXT) organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our team in Seattle, Washington, and Arlington, VA. Selling Partner Services is a global team of over 40k employees in over 20 countries. The leaders in this team have global extended teams, so this opportunity will be working with groups in multiple countries and cultures. The SPS PXT team who supports the SPS business is a multi-functional team of passionate individuals including HR Business Partners, Program Managers, Leadership Development, Research Science, and Data Analytics. The mission of SPS is to enable the long-term success of our selling partners by providing the most trusted shopping and selling experience and by providing exciting solutions for accelerating our selling partners’ business growth. This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, partnering with leadership to establish and maintain operating mechanisms, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group. Key job responsibilities - Proactively oversee and manage calendars for two executives in SPS PXT - Partner closely with the Lead EA in SPS PXT and SPS business EA teams to collaborate on projects, events, and share information - Maintain high level of confidentiality and judgment while working with sensitive information - Organize and support team offsites and on-sites multiple times a year - Coordinate international and domestic travel - Manage expense report coordination and submission A day in the life - Actively resolve calendar conflicts and work backwards to ensure executives are able to prepare for upcoming deadlines - Communicate frequently with executives, peer EAs, Lead EA, and SPS PXT team members to relay critical information and set expectations - Work on project-oriented tasks, such as event planning, travel planning, and business operations About the team The SPS PXT team not only supports the business, but also serves as the custodians of the SPS employee experience. Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience - High school or equivalent diploma - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications - Experience with executive level calendar management - Experience managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel Preferred Qualifications - Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company - Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround - Experience handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives - Experience with end-to-end project management Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
