The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for the Chief Deputy Secretary for Transit including scheduling, travel approval and reimbursement submissions, staffing Board of Transportation Committees, etc. In addition, the position works with management staff on special and critical projects assigned directly by the Deputy Secretary for Multimodal Transportation. The position is responsible for coordinating activities dictated by the Chief Deputy Secretary. This position supports the Chief Deputy Secretary to ensure the department is responsive to the Secretary’s directives and those of the Governor and to ensure that the department satisfactorily meets the needs of the public. The person occupying this position must be able to function independently, have strong Outlook skills, and discretion. This is an anticipated vacancy.
