Hourly base pay rate is $31.49 - $47.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team that can help us with foundational organizational skills while adding a balance of problem solving and creativity. The ideal candidate will join our discussions to learn the various aspects of our business becoming a true partner to the VP team. Core accountabilities of the role include organizing our days, anticipating our administrative needs, tackling the “walk-on” challenges that arise and generally collaborating with team members for success. As an ambassador for the team, the successful candidate must be a natural people-person, comfortable in representing the department with polish, professionalism and appropriate discretion. This high-impact role will have abundant access to senior leaders in Technology and through excellence will establish eligibility towards upward mobility in the organization over time.
The role is based in Atlanta and required to be in office a minimum of 3 days week.
Foundational organizational skills are essential for this role.
Organizing appointments, including prioritizing meetings and resolving conflicts. Coordinating travel arrangements, including itineraries, and accommodation.Preparing expense reports and managing budgets.Partnering extensively with peer network across Cox.Managing and coordinating departmental events and meetings.Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create high-quality presentations, spreadsheets and org charts.Managing confidential information discretely.Additional consideration will be given to candidates who can demonstrate some balance of these “force multiplier” skills.
Participation in meetings and ability to learn various aspects of our business. Collaborating to turn data, ideas, and concepts into compelling stories that help communicate clearlyDesigning of visually engaging digital assets, which may include photo editing, infographics and social media visuals.Building polished and impactful slide decks for meetings, offsites and executive-level presentations (e.g., using PowerPoint, Keynote, or Canva).Assisting with action items and follow-ups; including reminders of deadlines and coordinating reviews.Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 7 years’ experience in a related field.The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years’ experience; or 9 years’ experience in a related fieldExperience directly reporting to and supporting senior executives and their respective teamsExperience: x?+ years working in a cross-functional, dynamic environment delivering projects, assignments, events or milestones of similar complexity, preferably in a technology-driven environment. BS/BA degree in related discipline (i.e., Business)Experience in telecommunications desired.In addition to MS Office, a familiarity and understanding of Oracle, Workday, graphic design tools a benefit.Benefits
