Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 1 to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Chantilly VA!  The current food landscape consists of 1 corporate cafe that serves Breakfast and Lunch only, 1 Micro-Market that has re-heat and cold food items, and Catering operations. 

 

The Executive Chef 1 will be the lead culinary person for the operation.  Duties will include but not limited to:

Menu planningOrderingInventoryhands on about 90% of the timeFood costLeading and developing a team of 6  hourly employees with the General ManagerSafety and sanitationEnsuring quality and presentation of food

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire).  Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.  

 

Target Salaryt is 75K

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
