Sodexo Government Services is seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced Resource Executive Chef 2  for a high-profile account with a government agency located in Fort George Meade, MD.   Primary responsibilities will be supervising BOH staff and overseeing the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food.. Excellent team building skills, client and customer skills, effective cost controls and a passion for outstanding food and service are keys to success. Our government agency contract continues to grow and excellent advancement opportunities await the successful candidate. 

This Resource Executive Chef position is temporary in nature but is eligible to apply to permanent positions at any time.

Position contingent upon obtaining a top secret security clearance from the United States government based on a federal background investigation, which will include a polygraph. 

- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.


The successful candidate will:

be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/orhave working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
