Are you a strategic, dynamic, and innovative leader?

 

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a high-end hospitality focused Executive Chef for our rapidly growing pharma life sciences client account in headquartered Plainsboro, NJ. The role will eventually oversee the portfolio of client sites, currently at 5 locations with the possibility to expand to 7. The sites are a combination of office, manufacturing and R&D. This leader will lead a team of 4 chefs (1 Executive Chef, and 3 Sous Chefs).  

 

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef with a strategic mindset to lead culinary operations for a prestigious pharmaceutical client. Our client is dedicated to promoting health and wellness for all their employees, with a strong focus on providing nutritious, high-quality meals in a hospitality-driven environment. This role is a unique opportunity to merge exceptional culinary skills with a health-conscious, client-centric approach, delivering world-class food services that align with the client's values of well-being and excellence. Food Services include corporate dining, catering services, and a rapidly expanding free snack program with wellness focus.

 

This position offers a predominately Monday through Friday schedule.

The successful candidate will:

Stay current on food trends, nutrition science, and culinary innovations to continually enhance menu offerings.Work closely with Sodexo's area and regional chefs to keep the culinary program fresh, exciting, and driving hospitality through every guest experience.Ensure to be implementing Sodexo's the most innovative, nutritious, and diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs, including plant-based, low-fat, gluten-free, and other health-conscious options.Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and food handling regulations, with a focus on exceeding health and wellness standards.Collaborate closely with dietitians and nutritionists to align menu offerings with health guidelines, ensuring meals promote overall well-being.Understand the clients vision and collaborate with the client to make their vision come to fruition.Support the development of the rapidly growing demand for the clients free snack program.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
