Overview **Position:** Executive Chef **Location:** Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Riverwalk **Department:** Food and Beverage **Reports to:** General Manager **Job Overview:** Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Riverwalk seeks a dynamic, experienced Executive Chef to lead our food and beverage team. The successful candidate will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service. This role requires a seasoned professional who can manage the restaurant, bar, and banquet functions with creativity, efficiency, and a passion for excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Culinary Leadership:** Direct all aspects of kitchen operations including menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation for the restaurant, bar, and banquet functions. - **Team Management:** Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective communication and leadership. - **Quality Control:** Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Implement and monitor food safety and sanitation standards. - **Financial Management:** Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Track and analyze food costs and labor expenses. - **Menu Development:** Create innovative and seasonal menus that cater to a diverse clientele. Maintain knowledge of current culinary trends and integrate them into the menu offerings. - **Customer Experience:** Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of food quality and service. Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally. - **Banquet Coordination:** Collaborate with the events team to design and execute memorable banquet experiences. Customize menus to meet the specific needs of events and conferences. - **Inventory Management:** Oversee the procurement and inventory of kitchen supplies. Ensure optimal stock levels and manage vendor relationships. - **Health and Safety Compliance:** Enforce strict adherence to all health and safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines.
