Overview The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the quality and consistency of food, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining inventory and budget control. This role demands a high level of creativity, leadership, and culinary expertise to deliver an exceptional dining experience for hotel guests. Design and update innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs, aligning with the hotel's brand and theme. Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness Monitor food quality and consistency to ensure guest satisfaction, conducting regular audits and inspections. Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, scheduling and assigning duties to ensure smooth operations Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching. Manage food inventory, control costs, and adhere to budget guidelines. Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality. Address any food-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Interact with guests to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role. Culinary degree or equivalent experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Creative and innovative with a passion for culinary excellence. Ability to work under pressure and manage a high-paced kitchen environment.
