What Will I be Doing?

The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing and managing all culinary operations at the resort, ensuring exceptional food quality, guest satisfaction, and efficient operations. This role requires strong leadership, culinary expertise, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.

You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Menu Development: Create and implement innovative and appealing menus that align with the brand and target audience, considering seasonal trends and local ingredients when possible Food Quality and Standards: Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation are maintained throughout all culinary operations. Staff Management: Assist in process of recruiting, hiring process for all culinary staff. Train and supervise culinary staff, providing ongoing development and mentorship. Inventory Control: Oversee the control of inventory levels, food costs, and purchasing procedures to optimize profitability. Operational Efficiency: Streamline kitchen operations, improve efficiency, and minimize waste. Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest feedback and address any concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Budget Management: Develop and manage the culinary department budget, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. Special Events: Help in planning and implementing special events, banquets, and catering functions. Embodies the Hilton Grand Vacations Values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, Now Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned. Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures. Other related duties as assigned.
