What will you do? As the Executive Chef, you will lead and manage the kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining high standards of safety, sanitation, and profitability. You will play a key role in developing and motivating your team, creating innovative menus, and driving the food and beverage success of the property. Culinary Leadership: Plan and manage the procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all food items in compliance with brand standards. Develop and implement innovative menus and cost-effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Train, coach, and empower kitchen staff to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management. Monitor and control inventory levels, food and labor costs, and departmental budgets. Maintain kitchen equipment and related areas in excellent working condition. Collaborate with catering and event teams to ensure successful execution of banquets and other events. Guest & Team Engagement: Build strong relationships with guests, responding proactively to feedback and resolving concerns. Maintain open communication with all departments to enhance guest satisfaction and team collaboration. Uphold the company's core values and foster a positive team culture. About you: Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred. Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards is highly desirable. Proven leadership in kitchen operations, including hiring, training, and managing staff. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen equipment, and culinary techniques. Skills: Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in reading and creating recipes, managing inventory, and cost control. Physical ability to handle kitchen equipment, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in varying temperatures.
