Job Summary As the Executive Chef, you will lead kitchen operations and ensure a safe, clean work environment. This role involves crafting meals that adhere to our high standards and corporate guidelines. It's an excellent fit for a dynamic chef with a knack for innovation and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: + Design regular and special menus while adhering to nutritional guidelines. + Follow and enforce standards for recipes, portioning, and presentation. Evaluate meal quality through regular tasting. + Train and manage kitchen staff on food preparation, safety, and equipment use, ensuring compliance with health regulations. + Oversee the scheduling of equipment maintenance and cleaning. Ensure compliance with sanitation practices. + Manage food and supply inventory within budget constraints, making informed decisions on the use of leftovers. + Uphold all federal, state, and local sanitation and safety regulations. + Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in staff meetings and safety trainings. Preferred Qualifications: + Culinary Arts degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience. + At least 5 years in culinary/kitchen management, with experience in high-volume or complex food services. + Strong background in institutional and batch cooking. + Direct experience in menu development and cost management. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with industry software. + Experience with catering and event execution is advantageous. + ServSafe certification is preferred.
