What You’ll Do
+ Lead a culinary team with a hands-on approach, ensuring excellence in every dish and menu
+ Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including sourcing fresh, local ingredients and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
+ Follow standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards. Complete and utilize daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.
+ Mentor and develop talented kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
+ Maintain kitchen efficiency while implementing best practices in food safety and sanitation.
+ Tastes completed meals to ensure quality and have full accountability for quality assurance standards. Participate in the creation of seasonal, globally inspired menus that reflect current trends and customer favorites.
What We’re Looking For
+ 4+ years of Executive Chef experience, particularly in high-volume food operations.
+ Demonstrated experience as a strong people leader and effective communicator
+ Knowledgeable in multiple cuisine types including grill, global, plant forward cuisine, with a passion for introducing new and exciting flavors.
+ Preferred background in Corporate Dining, Hotels, Catering, or Large Restaurants.
+ A leader who can encourage, empower, and mentor the culinary team.
+ A problem solver with strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Demonstrated commitment to ensuring individual and team adherence to safety guidelines, including communicating safety concerns; using and promoting safe behaviors based on training and lessons learned, and following safety protocols.

What Are the Physical Requirements
+ Constantly stand, walk, chop and mix.
+ Frequently twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
+ Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 50lbs.
+ Ability to see food presentation and taste all types of food (glutens, dairy, all protein, vegetables, and starches).
