Job description
We are looking for an Executive Chef for a Modern Mediterranean, Republic Venue and Sky Garden
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform daily line checks and safety walkthroughs
· Responsible for food budget and cost control of food and labor working with the restaurant GM
· Vendor relationships and procurement skills
· Monitor food waste and find solutions to minimize food waste
· Menu development and engineering when needed
· Keep the kitchen running smoothly and adequately stocked with all necessary goods for inhouse and To-go operations
· Create an environment of trust, mutual respect, and leadership skills
Responsible for the complete life cycle of all team members including hiring, training, coaching/counseling, skill development and terminations
· Monitor and maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control
· Monitor and enforce inventory controls
· Ensure accurate and thorough information regarding menu items and food allergen information is up to date
· Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
· Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned by ownership
Must be working behind the line
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year

Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 5 years of experience.
· Knowledge in Mediterranean cuisine is a MUST
· Knowledge in Kabob marination and cooking.
· Must speak English and Armenian.
· Inventory Management skills.
· Detail orientation and cool under pressure.
· A self-motivator, who works clean and stays organized.
· Respect for coworkers and a team player mentality is essential.
· A desire to learn, grow, and be a future leader is also encouraged.
