Executive Compensation Controls Associate
Executive Compensation is part of the Rewards, Regulatory & Policy Department and is responsible for the administration of the corporate executive compensation programs including the Long-term Incentive Plan (under which all stock compensation awards are granted), non-qualified deferred compensation/executive benefit programs and the employee stock purchase plan. As a Compensation Controls Associate, you will initially support the Executive Compensation Team but will broaden scope to support other teams within Rewards, Regulatory & Policy. You will be responsible for supporting adherence to Corporate governance rules such as business resiliency, record retention, audit controls, SOX/Core testing, money movement instruction, process documentation, etc. You will also be responsible for validating data presented to employees from vendor and/or HR systems. You will interact with other HR professionals globally to understand the governance requirements and deadlines for compliance; you will work with the team to ensure all deadlines are met. You may be engaged in special projects and/or other activities in support of the team. **Job Responsibilities:** + Work with appropriate HR specialists to understand and become expert in the requirements of JPMC's business resiliency, record retention, data privacy and shared drive administrative functions. Communicate requirements and deadlines to team members and monitor team compliance. + Provide oversight and guidance to the team for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and CORE control requirements. Work with SOX control expert as needed to refine and/or support existing controls. + Perform independent audit of key SOX and CORE controls. + Ensure appropriate documentation is filed as required for funds transfer authorization; review accuracy of documents prepared by team; retain approvals for audit and control purposes. + Partner with process documentation specialist to understand corporate requirements and ensure team's documents remain in compliance. + Conduct weekly My Rewards testing to ensure information presented to employees is accurate. + Support the team on special projects as needed **Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** + Bachelors degree + Minimum of 2 years professional work experience + Ability to maintain high ethical standards with a drive to achieve the right answer in difficult and/or ever changing situations + Strong detail-orientation skills + Strong organizational skills and flexibility to perform with multiple/changing deadlines + Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage various projects + Proven ability to research and analyze information + Strong interpersonal skills; strong collaboration and relationship building skills + Strong ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive, confidential matters + Must be an excellent problem solver and independent thinker who has the ability to create innovative solutions + Ability to work autonomously to affect change - flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; manage competing prioritiesto achieve the most effective result + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
