Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.
Summary: Serves as the Executive Coordinator to the VP and Director. Supports the Physician Recruitment staff members including the Retention Supervisor with all necessary work for the department, including recruitment, retention, Physician leadership, CME, and on-boarding for providers to McLeod Health. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Facilitates travel and accommodations for staff members and interviewing physicians, CRNAs, NPs and PA providers. Including managing all logistics for all interviewing physicians, APPS, and CRNA providers and their families for the purpose of arriving on-site for interviews throughout all McLeod facility locations systemwide. These tasks often require after-hours attention and monitoring. Must have the ability to work remotely to assist in the arrangements, travel, and the logistics of marketing and recruitment tools for conferences and meetings and assist in events for Physician Leadership and Physician Development events including and managing small projects and facilitates team functions; some of which require after-hours work. Provides administrative support and performs numerous duties, including data entry, writing correspondence, managing accounts payable, emailing, handling visitors, main phone line, and answering questions and requests. Facilitates background checks and website checks on potential and interviewing provider interviews. Facilitates ordering and maintaining adequate office supplies and conference supplies. Completing work orders for the department. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of scheduled visits and their itinerary of accommodations to reconfirm for seamless travel. Ability to manage and coordinate complex calendars, reserve conference rooms, arrange catering and reservations. Provides support to the Vice President with database, Recruit Assist reports and information for executive meetings also provides support to the Vice President with events and projects off campus and possible after hour executive functions. Other duties as assigned by Director or Vice President.
