Job Title: Executive Director, Business Operations

Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid – 4 days/week onsite)

Position Summary

NCR Atleos Field Services maintains over 600,000 ATMs and installs more than 40,000 new ATMs annually across 60 countries, supported by over 7,000 field service technicians. They manage a global fleet of vehicles and a global training network and drive continuous quality and cost improvements.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will lead the continuous improvement (CI) and transformation of field service delivery, focusing on cost productivity, operational KPIs (safety, quality, delivery), process improvement and digital transformation. This position reports to the SVP, Global Field Services. 

Key responsibilities include:  

Drive the transformation of Field Services into a lean, proactive, automated, AI-informed, and availability-driven operation.

Manage a team of regional field operations leaders, consulting engineers, and project/program managers.

Collaborate with various teams and organizations, including field services, supply chain, quality, demand planning, IT, digital transformation, customer service management, engineering, sales, product management, marketing, legal, and HR.

Impact: This business-critical role will be a key driver of customer satisfaction in Services and deliver meaningful cost productivity back to the business.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Team & Culture

Manage a team of up to 50 persons, accountable for achieving key operational and cost productivity targets

Foster a continuous improvement, customer centric culture that:

challenges historical norms

embraces innovation and sees change as the path to improvement

relentlessly focuses on areas of improvement and “lives in the red”

drills down past averages and reduces variation

proactively avoids escalations at customer and ATM level

delights the customer and improves customer satisfaction

is accountable to meeting business plans

Implement innovation as a full-circle process with a continuously evolving idea funnel

Identify an organizational structure and resources necessary to meet stretch business goals

Identify and effectively utilize cross-functional, matrixed resources to achieve goals

Cost Productivity

Achieve annual cost productivity target in Field Services in P&L

Develop long term CI and productivity strategy tied to Services vision and business strategy

Manage program deck including operational and financial impacts, and prioritized based on timeliness and business impact

Manage project execution

Proactive monetization of operational productivity improvements to P&L

Operational and financial readouts and reporting

Governance of completed programs (from project to standard process)

Region Operations

Achieve operational KPI improvements in areas of safety, quality and services delivery

Drive cost productivity projects into regions

Drive process & digital transformation into regions (new processes, software, tools)

Analytics & reporting

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, engineering or a related field.

A master's degree is preferred

Experience:

10+ years’ total professional experience

5+ years’ experience in a senior operations leadership / operations management role

Executive experience preferred

Skills:

Leadership: strong leadership and team management skills with global awareness and cultural intelligence

Strategic Planning: ability to develop and implement strategies that consider industry specific and global markets, trends, and challenges

Process Improvement: expertise in Lean process optimization and efficiency improvement

Project Management: strong project and program management skillsets

Financial Management: strong financial acumen including budgeting, financial analysis, cost control and reporting

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders. 

Good spoken and written English.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Travel

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
