Position Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Finance Gross Margin, you will serve as the Finance Lead for the Pharmacy Service’s Trade activities, collaborating closely with leadership within the Trade organization and across the Pharmacy Services business ensuring alignment with our mission. You will provide expert financial leadership and guidance, ensuring financial objectives are aligned with organizational goals. As a strategic partner you will drive financial excellence, promote sound decision making and direct actions to achieve optimal financial performance.
Responsibilities:
+ Cultivates strong relationships with senior executives within Pharmacy Services, establishing credibility as a trusted business partner and advisor.
+ Develops comprehensive financial plans aligned with the organizational goals and long-term strategic plans.
+ Coordinate development and monitor implementation of major action plans. Seize competitive opportunities and respond to performance shortfalls/plan variances. You will support the business and lead/support our forecasting and strategic planning process. Assist with the ongoing monitoring of results and metrics.
+ General oversight of financial activities for a business unit/function. Partner with management to analyze and support P&L responsibility.
+ Provide leadership and guidance to finance colleagues, overseeing development, performance management and hiring processes.
+ Promotes collaboration across the organization.
+ Supports a collaborative and inclusive culture resulting in effective teamwork throughout the finance organization.
+ Provides necessary training to ensure consistent finance competencies and skills.
Core Skills:
+ Strong executive presence with outstanding communication skills capable of articulating clearly complex financial information to executive leadership and others in a clear and concise manner
+ Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and inquisitive work environment.
+ Expertise in identifying, assessing and mitigating financial risks.
+ Deep knowledge of key budgeting, forecasting, accounting and reporting principles
Required Qualifications:
+ 15 years of experience to include:
+ 3+yrs managing a P&L, minimum of $3B of revenue
+ 3+yrs financial consolidation experience
+ 3+yrs experience presenting to senior leaders
+ 3+yrs experience with accounting software packages and general ledgers
+ 3+ years managing a hybrid workforce
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Masters Degree
+ Outstanding attention to detail. with proven interpersonal skills with ability to lead, teach and motivate others.
+ Excellent analytical skills
+ Ability to adapt to high-pressure and high-volume situations.
+ Exhibit good judgment in escalating issues to senior management staff as well as proposed solutions.
+ Excellent decision making capabilities.
+ Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
