Executive Director, Global Helium Product Management

Global Helium is seeking an Executive Director of Global Helium Product Management to join our team located in The Woodlands, TX. The Executive Director – Global Helium Product Management leads team driving commercial helium business activities for the Linde Inc. operating segment globally supporting product management, sales, business development, contract negotiations and pricing initiatives. Responsible for integrating the global helium strategy with each regional business unit (RBU) strategies while driving short and long term profitable growth for the helium business. Requires close cooperation and coordination with global sales teams, global helium operations, product management and logistics.

Responsibilities

The Executive Director, Global Helium Product Management is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

· Manage the global helium product management team working across the globe and interacts with the bulk and packaged sales teams Regions to meet / exceed regional and global business targets.

· Drive PL performance by delivering profitable helium growth

· Support the Global Helium Strategy by collaborating with other team members in developing actions that increase sales and profitability

· Directly manage and own the Global Helium Direct sales for bulk and MRI/dewar helium business / PL.

· Align global local strategy intent, goals supporting actions

· Develop and monitor RBU and operating segment level sales, pricing, and profitability KPIs.

· Support RBU helium sales and business development activities

· Support the global and RBU budgeting and forecasting process with input on sales volumes, pricing and costs.

· Work closely with global helium product management and supply chain teams to support and optimize regional supply/demand planning.

· Define implement regional helium pricing, surcharge, and product allocations.

· Monitor, analyze and evaluate regional helium market trends and competitive activity to develop and adjust strategies and metrics accordingly to drive profitability for helium

· Establish guidelines for helium pricing and contracting (terms and conditions), and monitor implementation

· Contribute to business unit productivity goals by identifying and driving helium related productivity initiatives globally

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Field, MBA preferred

· 10 years overall business experience

· 7 years related industrial gases experience

· Willing and able to travel (50- 75% Both Domestic and Global)
