Executive Director, Local Market Product Management - Commercial

This role collaborates closely with regional leadership and sales teams to ensure product offerings meet local market demands and business priorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, product management, and be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic initiatives and growth targets. **Strategic Partnership and Alignment:** • Cultivate strong partnerships with regional leaders, including market presidents, sales, actuarial, underwriting, network, and marketing, to understand business priorities and build alignment on product strategies. Product Strategy and Execution: • Drive the strategic direction, simplification, and successful execution of local market product portfolios nationwide. • Align commercial product development with local goals and operational plans. • Lead ongoing market and competitive analysis to inform business decisions and support cross-sell initiatives. Market Intelligence and Advocacy: • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the commercial product portfolio to highlight initiatives that align with regional needs. • Serve as the voice of the market within the commercial product organization, providing insights to inform the design of new products and offering feedback on the performance of existing ones. Cross-functional Collaboration: • Partner with internal teams, including peers in product, marketing, underwriting and actuarial, to ensure flawless execution of product capabilities, delivery while addressing business challenges. Sales and Account Management Support: • Oversee the product management team in close consultation with sales and account management to identify product gaps, provide tools, share knowledge, develop tailored solutions and selling strategies for each market. Project Leadership and Initiative Support: • Represent commercial product in cross-functional collaborations to resolve business challenges and support strategic initiatives with subject matter expertise. Team Leadership and Development: • Lead and mentor the product management team up to 10, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and business acumen. • Focus on talent development through active coaching and building a mindset of curiosity and ideation within the team. **Required Qualifications** + 8+ yrs experience in product management, strategy development, and cross-functional leadership within the managed care or healthcare industry. + 5+ yrs or more of demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment. + Strong communication and partnership skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and leadership levels. + Experience with process improvement and project management initiatives. + Understanding of technology and how it can be applied to solve business problems and/or provide technical solutions. + Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage market insights and data to drive decisions. **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office Tuesday / Wednesday /Thursday) + Experience with Commercial Products in a managed care environment **Education** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience + Masters in Business Administration **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $131,500.00 - $303,195.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
