CVS Health is recruiting an Executive Director, Rx Returns for Pharmacy Trade & Supply Chain, which is a highly visible role supporting expired and recalled returns across all CVS pharmacies. In this high impact position, this strategic forward-thinking individual will lead and manage CVS’ nonsaleable pharmaceutical product returns, recalls, and reverse logistics relationship program. Additionally, this individual will utilize their analytical capabilities to deliver executive level reports for internal and external partners.In this role, you will be:Leading the growth and development of a team charged with delivery of financial results while supporting and maintaining pharmaceutical supplier relationships;Contributing to the development and execution of expired and recalled returns strategy;Designing and delivering detailed, accurate reports and presentations for senior leadership and external partners summarizing pharmaceutical returns;Reviewing and approving contractual language related to return goods;Leading conversations with key pharmaceutical manufacturers;Leading the management and contract execution of the CVS reverse logistics relationship;Overseeing the retail pharmaceutical recall program;Working with Trade team colleagues and pharmaceutical manufacturers to identify opportunities to partner on innovative programs;Supporting CVS with broader enterprise needs/projects related to expired and recalled pharmaceutical products;Supporting CVS Health in attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse and inclusive consumer-centric workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live, and serve.Additional responsibilities include:Supervise, mentor and direct a team responsible for expired and recalled pharmaceutical product and CVS’ reverse logistics relationship;Own financial results with accuracy, discipline and diligence;Leverage data to drive business solutions and drive team to use data to inform business solutions;Drive value to CVS through the use of data;Develop strong working relationships with high visibility external supplier business partners to evaluate opportunities, based on sound analysis, and resolve business concernsQUALIFICATIONS The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with all the business leaders. The candidate will be expected to have the following key attributes:8-12 years of pharmaceutical industry knowledge of drug pricing policies, trends, and innovation.Strong knowledge of Reverse Logistics and End of Life Supply ChainStrong financial acumenProven negotiation skillsExperience in executive analytics, designing and building executive-level, analytic convincing business presentationsAbility to problem solve, identify, and remove roadblocks, triage, and prioritize issues that impact one or more project work streamsAbility to develop business arguments to key functions with external and internal stakeholdersProven ability to work within a climate of ambiguityExcellent relationship management, strong team building, and the ability to work across business units within a complex organizationDemonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing biasRemote working East Coast hours and comfortable with some travel
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
