Executive Director, Senior Lead Corporate Banking Relationship Manager, Consumer & Retail

Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director, Senior Lead Corporate Banking Relationship Manager as part of the Consumer & Retail (C&R) Corporate & Investment Banking team. This individual will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing profitable relationships with Consumer & Retail Corporate Banking clients.  This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a broad range of Consumer & Retail corporate clients and delivering the full platform of Wells Fargo’s capabilities including Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, M&A related Acquisition Finance, Treasury Management, Macro solutions, Global Receivables & Trade and Credit.  The successful candidate should have a proven ability to develop internal and external relationships and have relevant corporate banking experience. Consumer & Retail sector experience is a plus.


In this role, you will:

Work as an advisor to more experienced leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for large corporate banking or specialized lending sector across Corporate Banking functionsLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the companyDeliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to othersDevelop, maintain and generate revenue from the most important and financially complex clientsHandle all aspects of client interaction, including directing and coordinating execution of transactions with key product partnersProvide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale cross-functional or companywide strategiesProcess larger syndicated transactions where Wells Fargo has a lead role and be active in providing financial advice, ideas and solutions to client baseEngage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an expert advisor to leadershipServe as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyStrong accounting skills and ability to analyze financial statementsRelationship management or client-facing experienceCredit underwriting experience highly desiredAbility to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentAbility to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environmentIntermediate Microsoft Office skills


Job Expectations:

Registration for FINRA exams including Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63 and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date, if they are not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be acceptedObtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position.  In addition, state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards.  Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.

Base Pay:

$250,000May be considered for a discretionary bonus

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
