As the Crème School Executive Director, you will serve as the transformative leader responsible for the overall management, strategic direction, and success of our early childhood education organization. This executive position involves engaging in Crème de la Crème’s mission, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs. Your leadership will contribute to the development of young children and the advancement of Crème’s mission and goals!
As the Crème School Executive Director, you will:
Develop and articulate a compelling vision and strategic plan for your school, aligning with the mission and goals. Provide transformative leadership to inspire and guide the organization toward continuous improvement and excellence. Provide leadership and direction to all staff (including two salaried employees), fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and accountability. Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse and skilled workforce. Be responsible for the implementation, and continuous improvement of high-quality early childhood education programs. Ensure curriculum alignment with state standards and the needs of the community. Develop and manage your school’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation. Cultivate positive relationships with parents, families, and the community; including retention of families, enrolling/touring potential families, and the overall school engagement Represent your school at community events, collaborate with local organizations, and advocate for early childhood education.Assist as needed in daily school operations, at times including direct supervision of childrenMaintain all relevant regulations, laws, and policies related to early childhood education. Ensure your school's compliance with accreditation standards and licensing requirements.Establish and maintain high-quality standards for educational programs and overall operations. Implement continuous improvement strategies based on data-driven insights.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Education Administration, or a related field.Meet state specific credentials / guidelines for the roleAt least 3 years executive leadership experience in early childhood education or a related fieldSolid understanding of early childhood development, educational best practices, and program administration.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and multi-task and handle multiple situations simultaneously.Proven track record to build and sustain positive relationships with diverse staff, families, and communityDedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.Able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity.Read, write, understand, and speak English to connect with children and their parents in English
