Executive Director
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director to join our team based in Southlake, Texas. As the Executive Director, your primary role will be to provide leadership and vision, manage all functional areas of the community, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities • Providing leadership and vision to advance our mission, in collaboration with the board of directors, staff, stakeholders, and residents. • Overseeing all functional areas of the community, ensuring stability and success. • Ensuring compliance with all current industry standards, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to Retirement Communities. • Managing employee relations and fostering a positive work environment. • Utilizing strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders. • Carrying out budget administration, including budget allocations, monitoring, and management. • Developing and managing the annual budget and operating budget. • Leveraging executive leadership skills to drive the community's goals and objectives. • Employing budgeting and forecasting skills to ensure financial stability of the community. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably as an Executive Director • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective internal and external interactions • Thorough understanding of compliance and regulatory standards in the industry • Proven record in managing employee relations, promoting a positive work environment • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams • Experience in Executive Leadership, providing strategic direction and making key decisions • Knowledge of Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) and Continuing Care Retirement Community operations is desirable • Experience in preparing and managing annual budgets, with a focus on financial sustainability • Proficiency in annual operating budget creation, monitoring, and control • Experience in budget administration, including the allocation and management of funds • Familiarity with budget allocations, ensuring optimal use of resources • Strong budget management skills, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and efficiency • Experience in budget monitoring, with the ability to identify and address financial issues promptly • Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to predict financial trends and plan accordingly.
