Applications may be rejected if incomplete.* Minimum Qualifications The Executive Director for Student Affairs Strategic Initiatives in collaboration with division leadership, develops and executes critical initiatives contributing to divisional goals. This position spearheads the comprehensive planning, development, and implementation of key student affairs functions. This role ensures alignment with the institution's strategic goals, fosters a customer-centered approach through robust CRM systems, drives data-informed decision-making, supports the professional growth of divisional staff, and oversees project coordination and management to enhance student experiences and outcomes. This position reports directly to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and serves as a member of the Student Affairs Leadership Team (SALT). Key Responsibilities: + Strategic Plan Development and Implementation: + Lead the creation, refinement, and execution of the Student Affairs strategic plan in collaboration with divisional leadership and stakeholders. + Ensure alignment of strategic initiatives with the institution’s mission, vision, and long-term goals. + Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, making data-informed adjustments as needed. + Support the execution of the institution’s strategic plan. + Customer Relationship Management (CRM): + Oversee the implementation and management of CRM systems to enhance student engagement, retention, and success. + Develop and maintain robust CRM practices to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. + Train and support staff in the effective use of CRM tools to improve service delivery and student support. + Student Affairs Data and Assessment: + Lead the collection, analysis, and dissemination of student affairs data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. + Develop and implement assessment tools and processes to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services. + Collaborate with institutional research and other departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity. + Lead divisional efforts to develop and maintain effective accreditation data collection, writing, and reporting. + Divisional Professional Staff Success and Development: + Create and implement professional development programs to enhance the skills and competencies of Student Affairs staff. + Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the division. + Mentor and support staff in their career advancement and professional development goals. + Project Coordination and Management: + Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of key projects and initiatives within Student Affairs. + Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. + Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders. + Other Duties: + Support and advance institutional and divisional goals through participation in committees, task forces, and other collaborative efforts. + Stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in higher education and student affairs to continuously improve programs and services. + Perform additional duties as assigned by divisional leadership to support the overall success of Student Affairs.
