The Pillars of Prospect Park (POPP) is a nationally recognized, award-winning community offering a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative and high-performing environment. Conveniently located near the light rail transit station and metro bus line, POPP is close to the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN.
This vibrant community features 133 independent living, 106 assisted living, and 44 memory care apartments across two buildings—one six-story and one ten-story. Additionally, POPP includes an on-site Child Care Center and student housing.

Responsibilities/Job DescriptionLeadership and Team Development:
Build and maintain a dynamic leadership team.Set performance and operational goals with department directors.Provide ongoing support and encourage professional growth.Regularly assess performance, offering constructive feedback and addressing issues promptly.Foster a culture of teamwork and understanding of community goals.Ensure accurate scheduling and payroll activities.Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage the annual budget.Support department directors in setting financial goals.Review financial performance monthly to ensure budget compliance.Collaborate with the Ebenezer Corporate office on financial statements.Implement strategies to optimize revenue and manage expenses.Billing and Financial Management:
Oversee the monthly billing process for residents and tenants.Ensure accurate issuance of statements and address billing inquiries.Track payments and complete bank deposits.Provide timely information to the accounting department.Quality Services and Customer Satisfaction:
Engage actively with residents and families.Meet regularly with resident committees.Address concerns and manage the grievance resolution process.Conduct and review satisfaction surveys.Uphold excellent customer service standards.Develop and implement quality assurance and risk management programs.Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training compliance.Sales and Marketing Support:
Collaborate on developing effective sales and marketing strategies.Monitor occupancy and census data.Drive customer satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives.Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained.Provide feedback and direction to maintenance staff.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.Manage the survey process for health department inspections.Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned.

QualificationsRequired:
Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) or Licensed Health Services Executive (LHSE)Bachelor’s Degree in Senior Housing, Business or related fieldMust meet one of the options below:
1. Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) or Licensed Health Services Executive (LHSE) by BELTSS Board
2. Meets requirements for Assisted Living Director – In Residence (ALD-IR) by obtaining a permit from BELTSS as an ALD-IR within 30-days of hire date and have experience in the management of an AL or related facility or must be enrolled in a BELTSS approved program within six (6) months of permit issuance (Refer to MN Rule 6400.7080B). Required to graduate from approved program, complete the field experience and pass the examinations within one year of hire date.
