Allied Universal is seeking full time security Executive Driver to oversee a Pharmaceutical Site in Boston, MA

Starting Pay $23.30 / hour

Must be 21 years or older and have at least one year of security experience

Be able to walk, stand for long period of time and able to work outside in the elements

Must possess a valid driver's license

Monday through Friday 3 pm - 11 pm

Allied Universal® is hiring a Executive Driver. The Executive Transportation Driver will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to executives and other high-level personnel. The Driver must have exceptional driving skills, a strong knowledge of local and regional routes, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely transport Client executives and other high-level personnel to and from various destinations, including airports, meetings, conferences, and other business-related eventsMaintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with executives and their guestsEnsure the safety and security of passengers during transportation, strictly adhering to traffic laws and regulations.Plan and coordinate travel itineraries, taking into account traffic conditions, alternative routes, and potential delaysPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicleKeep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other transportation-related dataProvide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with luggage, opening doors, and addressing any special requests or needs.Carry out other tasks as designated by the Transportation ManagerAccurately completes driver trip sheet for each shift with information including the driver, vehicle, number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off times, and destinations.Play a key role in ensuring the security and safety of company leaders, directors, and guestsMaintain a detailed log of hours, routes, travelers, and tripOversee maintenance of the Executive's vehicle, including maintaining the vehicle in excellent working condition (e.g., regularly checking gas, oil, fluids, tires) and ensuring any needed repair or serviceMay be required to be on call beyond normal working hours, including weekends and overnight, to transport executives and visitors, as neededMaintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues, and security technology, and updates management on risks and threats that could impact company businessEnsures reporting all potential service and maintenance problems to the Transportation Manager in a timely fashion and ensuring proper upkeep of the vehicleProvide specific direction to subordinate staff and oversee quality of services pertaining to a contract security environmentAssist with Executive transportation confirmations, as neededMonitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs and servicing as neededStay updated with local traffic conditions, road closures, and alternative routes to optimize travel efficiencyMaintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting the values and image of Allied Universal and our customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with:No major traffic violation in the past 36 monthsNo more than 1 at-fault accident in the past 24 monthsNo more than 1 moving or minor traffic violation in the past 24 monthsCombination of the aboveMinimum two (2) years of professional driving experienceExcellent knowledge of local and regional roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routesExceptional driving skills and a demonstrated commitment to safetyFamiliarity with GPS devices and other navigation toolsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with executives and their guestsAbility to maintain and exercise discretionAvailability to work flexible hoursImpeccable punctuality and reliabilityKnowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and ability to address minor mechanical issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and console monitorsIntelligence, corporate, military, and security experiencePrior experience in a corporate or executive transportation environmentCommercial Driver’s License
