THE JOB:
As an Executive Housekeeper you are an essential part of guest experience. Your dedication to provide top-notch experiences for guests will set the stage for the memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us. By ensuring efficient daily operations, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lead multiple levels of experienced leaders in implementation and sustainability of policies, operating procedures and directives as part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Provide coaching to leadership members to optimize performance, and strategize department wide solutions for guest experience issues
Responsible for leading significant improvement initiatives, guest service standards, productivity standards and processes to enhance performance for employees and leaders in the department
Maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment
Collaborate with various department including but not limited to facilities, and front desk to ensure a positive guest experience, and room standards are upheld
Utilize Hotel Occupancy Reports to anticipate appropriate staffing needs
Provide input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, standards, technology and processes to ensure competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the complex hospitality and gaming environment
Assumes the responsibilities and duties of Director of Housekeeping/EVS during their absence and days off
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4+ years in hospitality, business management, leadership)
Must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, and leadership experience within a hotel environment
Has prior experience in a leadership role overseeing employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement
Is proficient in Rex, Opera/LMS, Amadeus/HotSOS, Kronos/UKG and Microsoft Office applications
Has prior experience interpreting and using Hotel Occupancy Reports to anticipate staffing needs
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate
Has a flexible schedule to support operations as needed
Professional appearance and demeanor
Bilingual
