We’re looking for a proactive and service-oriented Executive Meeting Manager to join our sales team, representing two of Chicago’s most iconic hotels: W Chicago City Center and W Chicago Lakeshore. This is a rare opportunity to drive impactful results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while shaping small group and catered event experiences for our guests. The Opportunity As an Executive Meeting Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for intimate gatherings and small group events. You’ll oversee groups with fewer than 25 rooms per night peak and catered events for up to 25 attendees, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless coordination. What You’ll Do Sales & Relationship Management: Handle inquiries and bookings for small groups and events, creating tailored solutions for each client’s needs. Develop strong client relationships to drive repeat business and positive referrals. Event Sales & Coordination: Book and service catered events with fewer than 25 attendees, ensuring flawless execution from start to finish. Collaborate with culinary, banquet, and operational teams to deliver memorable event experiences. Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales goals by driving revenue from small group bookings and catered events. Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, including food and beverage, AV, and décor. Efficient Lead Handling: Manage and track all inquiries, contracts, and event details within Marriott CI/TY. Prepare detailed event orders and ensure timely communication across departments. Qualifications Experienced & Organized: Proven experience in catering sales, event planning, or group management within the hospitality industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage several projects simultaneously. Collaborative & Client-Focused: A team player who values partnership and provides exceptional service to clients and colleagues. A detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. Tech-Savvy: Demonstrated experience with Marriott systems, including CI/TY, to efficiently manage leads, bookings, and event details. Why Join W Hotels of Chicago?
