As a Sr. Analyst, you will be integral to our mission of advising clients on the critical intersections of these domains. This Sr. Analyst will specifically help lead the Global Institute’s work on technology, with a focus on artificial intelligence and how changes in geopolitical and capital markets create new risks and opportunities for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on a broad spectrum of issues related to AI and how innovation and technology are shaped by geopolitics and capital markets. Analyze trends, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and generate insightful reports. Client Materials Development: Develop high-quality materials for clients, including presentations, research note, white papers, and briefings, that effectively communicate complex ideas and findings. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with bankers, experts, senior researchers, economists, and strategists to support a wide range of activities and projects. Creative Problem Solving: Apply innovative and creative tools to develop new approaches and solutions to complex problems. Thrive in an environment of ambiguity and rapidly evolving topics. Writing: Produce clear, concise, and compelling written content that translates sophisticated analyses into intuitive insights for clients.Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, economics, data science, technology, political science, public policy or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a related field, with demonstrated experience in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence.Research & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous and detailed research. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with statistical tools and methodologies. Program Management: Experience leading and executing complex projects on global issues, such as conferences, tabletop exercises, and working groups.Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex, often technical, concepts in a clear and engaging manner through reports, op-eds, memos, PowerPoints, and other thought leadership. Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions to emerging issues. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
