The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs’ corporate strategy, and in preserving the firm’s distinctive culture. We are responsible for safeguarding the firm’s relationship with alumni, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm’s evolving priorities. The Goldman Sachs Global Institute is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Assistant to support the President of Global Affairs and Co-Head of the Goldman Sachs Global Institute. 

This role requires an elevated level of professionalism, discretion, and adaptability to manage a fast-paced, high-profile office. The  Assistant will be responsible for providing seamless administrative and logistical support, ensuring efficiency across a broad range of engagements spanning geopolitics, pioneer technologies, and capital markets. 

Key Responsibilities

Calendar & Scheduling: Manage a dynamic and complex calendar, ensuring seamless coordination of meetings across multiple time zones with senior leaders across government and private sectors. Travel Coordination: Plan and execute extensive international travel, visas, including flights, accommodations, and ground logistics, ensuring efficiency and flexibility.Communication & Correspondence: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing confidential communications with professionalism.Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up: Organize agendas, briefing materials, and coordinate follow-ups for key meetings, ensuring alignment across multiple strategic priorities.Expense Management: Process and track expenses in compliance with company policies.Special Projects: Provide ad hoc support on strategic initiatives, research, and various data management systems. 

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 8-10+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Experience supporting senior leaders across government, consulting, or finance is a plus.Organizational Excellence: Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and adapt to shifting demands.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with high-profile executives, government leaders, and external stakeholders with discretion and professionalism.Proactive & Problem-Solving Mentality: Ability to think ahead, troubleshoot, and take initiative to improve efficiencies.Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom. Experience with CRM (Salesforce) or project management tools is a plus.

Salary Range 
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $80000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
