The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs’ corporate strategy, and in preserving the firm’s distinctive culture. We are responsible for safeguarding the firm’s relationship with alumni, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm’s evolving priorities. The Goldman Sachs Office of Corporate Engagement leads the global philanthropic efforts of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (Goldman Sachs), including strategic partnerships, charitable giving, and employee volunteerism. This includes programs such as the firm’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program, 10,000 Small Businesses, 10,000 Women, One Million Black Women, Goldman Sachs Gives and Community TeamWorks.

The role described below on the CRA Team in the Office of Corporate Engagement (OCE) is a backfill position to temporarily fill a vacancy due to leave.  Upon the completion of this short-term assignment, this role will transition to a permanent OCE generalist position that will support all OCE functions, including the work of the CRA Team, the Goldman Sachs Foundation and its programs (10,000 Small Businesses and One Million Black Women), GS Gives, and Community TeamWorks.

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) team is responsible for planning, developing, executing, monitoring, and reporting on Goldman Sachs’ CRA program.

The analyst will support the broader CRA team in its responsibilities for managing Goldman Sachs’ CRA program. Specific responsibilities include:

Program management Preparing documents and data for CRA examinations and other CRA-related requirements, including creating required documentation for loans, investments, grants and servicesCreating presentations, case studies and other collateral for internal and external meetingsResearch and analysis including peer benchmarking, market research, and policy analysisGovernance and oversight Facilitating planning for GS Bank’s CRA governance committeesCreating periodic management reporting on performance under the CRA Strategic PlanCommunity engagement Conducting periodic formal community needs assessments in Goldman Sachs Bank’s CRA assessment areasSupporting the administration of the Community Development Grant Program

Qualifications:

Salary Range 
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
