We are seeking an Executive Protection Agent, who shall report to the Executive Protection Operations Manager to provide security, risk assessments, operational close protection support, and other corporate security strategies to protect executives of the company, and other staff at large industry events and forums. This role will be based in New York, NY. This is a full time, onsite, permanent role.
Emphasis will be given to assist the Manager of Executive Protection Operations Manager in providing security risk assessments for the companies Chief Executive Officers and other Executive Committee members, that includes, home intrusion detection system reviews and installations, close protection services internationally and nationally, and other support services to provide safety for leadership, and other staff members.
Travel is required nationally and internationally to conduct advance security assessments, provide on-site close protection services, and work with local enforcement agencies, both nationally and internationally to mitigate risk to our executive team. Liaison is essential with the company’s global private and corporate security risk consulting firms for intelligence gathering, incident monitoring, and close protection support globally.
Protection services will be required for corporate on-site and local off-site events for the Executive Committee, and other company officials. Responsibilities may also include escorting dignitaries, public officials, industry executives and other individuals visiting the headquarters office. Event security, and off-site leadership meeting security is an essential part of this position.
Emphasis will be given to coordinating protection services with the company’s Global Security Department, Global Security Operations Center, and the Intelligence Desk to keep track of, and monitor any potential threats to the organization, and its principals. Coordination with the building security program is also required to work as one cohesive group in providing protection for the company’s headquarters location.
This position requires good written skills to create and update standard operating procedures to support this growing security function. Solid knowledge in Word and Excel spreadsheet’s is required.
We will count on you to:
Coordinate security coverage, logistical planning, threat assessments, and close protection practices in conjunction with the Manager of Executive Protection Operations.Work closely with executive support staff, the Executive Services Department, and the Global Security Department in obtaining executive trips, meetings, and other off-site events to plan protective strategies.Assist in establishing, developing, and maintaining the executive protection program, write standard operating procedures, create forms and tracking sheets for all logistical & operational support.Evaluate executive residential locations by using the Departments Residential Assessment Form, and the intelligence desk’s 6-month crime historical reporting tool. Conduct other residential assessments. On-site assessments are also required.Conduct risk assessments of hotels and other venues which will be attended by executives, utilize the Departments Hotel Assessment Form, and the intelligence desks 6-month crime historical reporting tool.Supervise the pool of Executive Chauffer’s and keep track of their assignments.Obtain Air Security Marshall certification. Once qualified, attend all annual training qualifications and other requirements needed to maintain Air Security Marshall certification in good standingReview and evaluate intelligence resources such as the New York City Police Department Shield Program, Private Intelligence sources, and Federal, State and Local law enforcement agencies regarding intelligence reports from confidential, open source, and third-party providers regarding the threat environment, implement proactive strategies to mitigate risks identified.Assist the Manager of Executive Protection Operations in building and managing a portfolio of monitoring ongoing risks which may impact the organization and its executives, develop strategies to mitigate risks identified.Engage with senior stakeholders in the Global Security Department to identify security and risk situations which may impact senior leadership, and other colleagues and make recommendations to mitigate those risks.Meet regularly with the NYPD Midtown North Police Department, and other appropriate Law Enforcement Departments, based on executive residential locations, within the United States and elsewhere to develop close working relationships, receive and relay crime, safety, and other information that supports the general security of executives.What you need to have:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Law Enforcement capacity preferred, which can be supplemented with corporate security experience.Leadership skills that include professional business ethics, assertiveness and self-motivation along with intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude.Ability to work in a corporate environment and present one-self with professionalism, good presentation skills, assertiveness, and dedication to complete tasks.Experience in the collection and analysis of threat intelligence preferred.ASO Certification will be required once onboarded.Carry and use firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is required. Be a lawful resident of the United States.Leadership skills that include professional business ethics, assertiveness and self-motivation along with intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude, and self-motivation.Successful passing of the companies’ background investigation.Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets.What makes you stand out:

The applicable base salary range for this role is $98,700 to $197,400.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
