The Executive Protection (EP) Professional will work closely with the Business Unit President and his leadership team in matters relating to security and their personal protection. Primary responsibility of this position is for the protection and transportation of the Raytheon President in Cedar Rapids, IA, however, domestic and international travel in this capacity is also required. You will maintain close liaison with government and industry security, law enforcement and intelligence professionals
In order to succeed in this position you must have experience conducting Threat, Risk & Vulnerability Assessments. You must also be capable of working independently and adapting to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy. This ability to adjust work schedule, will often be on short notice, to accommodate leadership schedule and security needs. Your sound operational judgement and the flexibility to shift priorities to adjust to varying challenges while maintaining a positive attitude with a professional communication style and appearance is essential to your success.
What You Will Do
Liaise with management, industry representatives, customers, and law enforcement for the organization on matters pertaining to executive protection, events, operations, and objectives.Perform and execute the development of comprehensive physical security plans and employ methodologies in developing best practices in risk and vulnerability assessments that safeguard Raytheon leadership.Coordinate schedules/itinerary for travel planning with the principal’s executive assistant daily.Drive primary and secondary routes in advance for venues. Support flights in and out of Reagan International Airport as a TSA-Armed Security Officer.Provide security at Raytheon sponsored events.Supplement other members of the Physical Security organization as directed. Maintain company executive transport vehicles to include inspections, tracking of vehicle accidents, delivery to dealership for repairs, replacements, and weekly washing and cleaning.Qualifications You Must Have
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 8 years conducting executive protection operations in a domestic and international environmentBe able to obtain and maintain a TSA Armed Security Officer (ASO) certificationExperience conducting Threat, Risk & Vulnerability AssessmentsMust have a valid driver’s licenseQualifications We Prefer
Tactical experience working on an active SWAT, SRT, or similar unitTechnical Security Counter Measure (TSCM) experienceCounterintelligence experienceExperience collaborating with other businesses to develop and maintain progressive security programsPrior training in firearms, defensive tactics, defensive/evasive driving, arrest techniques, and/or emergency medicineExperience with investigating allegations of workplace violence incidents and/or threat management programsWhat We Offer

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
