Summary:
The Executive Protection (EP) Specialist will be responsible for security of CEO, ELT and personnel working or meeting on the executive floor of the Huntington Center during normal business hours. The EP Specialist will control access to lobby area and all executive workspaces on the executive floor. Must have flexible schedule to maintain coverage and security of the floor. This person will be assigned to a local corporate location.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct threat assessment to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities to Senior Management via investigations, proactive means (actively engaging the aggressor), preplanning security at events, etc. Preplans and assist in coordinating access and security of activities for regular and special events on the executive floor.Coordinates with various service providers and provides close-in personal protection to the principles on the executive floor and at the Huntington Center.Provide emergency first aid/CPR as neededAssists Executive Protection team with investigations, training, etc.Acts as liaison with senior security service providers (political/celebrity VIP details, secret service, etc.) for enhanced security as requiredInteracts with corporate and government VIPs, dignitaries and security staff visiting executives at the Huntington Center.Exercises independent judgment responding to potential threatsPerforms protective advance planning for events held on the executive floorResponds to emergencies and coordinates with first responders to perform medical and police operations, as neededDeescalates tense situations or individuals that could arise on the executive floor.Acts upon and communicates vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely mannerConducts independent research to gather, analyze, or evaluate information from a variety of sources, such as law enforcement databases, surveillance, intelligence networks or geographic information systemsOn a daily basis, studies activities related to personal and perceived threats against executive leadership or other national security threats against the businessDevelops and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external business partners, local officials and agencies; work to develop relationships with asset protection industry investigators as neededPerforms other duties as assigned.
