Abbott is seeking an Executive Recruiter to serve in a lead client-facing role and “own” a functional segment such as Operations (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, etc.) or Scientifics (quality, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, etc.) in support of key leadership openings. In this role, the executive recruiter will provide candidate research, lead generation, initial interviews, and client submittals as part of an in-house executive recruitment team that supports all divisions and business functions.
Operating out of a major hub location, this opportunity offers exposure to core elements and players of the Abbott enterprise, and serves as a brand ambassador attracting top talent. It is a critical role that has a dramatic impact on candidate experience and business performance. Individuals should have years of direct responsibility for contacting, cultivating and submitting passive candidates. Experience supporting diversity recruitment preferred.
What You’ll Work On
Strategic Responsibilities:
Drive the recruitment strategies, client relationships and business knowledge/learning for a key business functionCultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders across Talent Acquisition (TA) and Human Resources (HR)Contribute to overall achievement of the executive recruitment team and broader TADay-to-Day Responsibilities:
Source passive candidates and provide diverse slates of candidatesInterview, evaluate and recommend candidatesProvide recruitment and customer service for multiple client groupsCollaborate to define position requirements, sourcing strategies and action plansDeliver research-oriented talent mappings and insights projectsMaintain a high level of customer satisfaction with recruiters and candidatesEnsure Workday and CRM database are updated in an accurate and timely mannerBuild and maintain active CRM talent poolsCodify and govern sourcing best practices and toolsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree6+ years of recruitment experience25+% of experience in 1 functional segment25+% of experience in Director-plus and/or Retained recruitment25+% of experience in client-facing rolesPreferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
