Executive Recruiter

Role Mission:

As an Executive Recruiter you will develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent across Schools, Special Programs, Headquarters and Executive teams as well as priority hard-to-fill roles. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding talent pipeline needs using methods of executive search and implementing a robust recruitment approach including creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation and business partner management. Your work will play an essential role in enhancing an environment of deep belonging, through our recruitment, selection, and retention practices. Location:

This is a full-time remote position based in Texas with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, and San Antonio or who are willing to relocate.

Travel Expectations:

Must have the ability to travel up to 30% of the time, especially during peak hiring season (January-June).


What You’ll Do
 

Oversee the end-to-end hiring process for senior-level and hard-to-fill roles in partnership with senior leaders, ensuring a superior candidate experience.Conduct application reviews, resume screenings, phone interviews, candidate coaching calls, rejections, and submit offers.Define and execute the selection and hiring strategy, including process, timing, and execution.Create and enforce equitable processes to assess hiring needs and identify high-quality candidates.Develop hiring profiles and selection tools; participate in kickoff meetings and check-ins with hiring managers.Serve as a subject matter expert to hiring managers; develop search profiles, curate interview committees, and define sourcing and assessment strategies.Build trust and relationships with hiring managers and candidates through coaching and development.Create and lead hiring manager training.Attend key external events to expand the network and build brand awareness.Host events to attract top talent and engage with the organization.Track and analyze data to make informed decisions and improve sourcing and selection processes.Conduct empathy interviews, focus groups, and exit surveys to adapt to changing team and organizational needs.Leverage networks and sourcing expertise to build high-quality candidate pools for key leadership positions.Engage with stakeholders, perform university outreach, conduct cold outreach, and post on job boards and social media.Promote internal referrals and strategically engage in individual outreach to attract top prospects.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.Minimum 3+ years of recruiting experience including full-cycle recruiting, executive sourcing, and research.Experience with applicant tracking systems; Jobvite highly preferred.Experience recruiting for a wide range of roles with the ability to handle 10+ position types at any time across multiple departments and/or regions.Strong sourcing and pipeline building experience.Knowledge of K-12 education preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $74,764 and $87,100, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
