Job Description

The Executive Specialist is assigned to the Executive Services (ES) team. The ES team is responsible for the safety, security, health, privacy and well-being of the U.S. Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Board of Directors (BoD), Managing Committee (MC) members, employees and properties. Create and implement procedures that will enhance safety and security to U.S. Bank leadership and employees. Make decisions based on immediate information that may deviate from established policies and procedures without approval. Consult with executive level management on security and logistical recommendations. Must have eligibility for HR 218 (federal authorization to carry firearm) and Armed Security Officer (Homeland Security clearance) certifications.

Key Responsibilities include:

Provide security guidance, recommendations and training to CEO, MC, BoD, business lines and employeesOversee security planning, logistical and operational support of bank sponsored events. Sometimes this is with other ES team members. Often times it is on your ownProvide local transportation services to MC members and BoDProvide coverage for C-Suite executive floor at U.S. Bank HeadquartersProvide logistical and security recommendations to the CEO, MC members and BoD when traveling local, domestic and internationalProvide ASO (armed security officer) support for DCA flightsOwn partnerships with MC members, ensuring that they are supported through logistics and securityOwn partnerships with MC members Executive AssistantsManage and maintain security projects for the executive floorManage and evaluate contracted vendors who support the ES team and corporate security functionsSupport other teams within Corporate SecurityEstablish and maintain relationships with outside entities including local, state and federal law enforcement, corporate security peers and private security partnersProvide investigative assistance and consultation to U.S. Bank leadership and business lines as requested

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent work experience10 or more years of related experienceMust have HR 218 (Federal conceal and carry of a firearm for former law enforcement), MN Conceal and Carry, CPR certification, Armed Security Officer (ASO) certificationClearance from the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Air Marshals, Conceal Carry License, 1st Aid CertificationAbility to work long hours, respond after hours, and make last minute adjustments to workflow

Preferred Skills/Experience:

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00 - $172,590.00
