Where Hard Stuff is Done Right! HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Executive Tech Support Lead for our Mclean, VA office. HII Mission Technologies is a technology solutions company delivering technical expertise and operational support to the United States Department of Defense, civilian government agencies and commercial customers. This is a hands-on, on-site technology role focused on the technologies our C-Suite Executives rely upon day-to-day. The position requires someone with demonstrated skills in an enterprise corporate environment that include mobile devices, desktop/laptop, AV, networking, Windows, MDM, and any other technology deployed to support our executives. This role will work with executives' schedules 24/7 and may need to be called after hours. The role will report into HII-Mission Technologies Service Delivery Team however dedicated to the Home Office of Mission Technologies, coordinating closely with other technical teams for support on network, wi-fi, messaging, devices, and cybersecurity. This is an on-site position of employment located in the Mclean, Virginia with travel to other locations if needed. The ideal candidate for the position will have knowledge of a range of technology tools from iPhone through enterprise infrastructure. The role requires outstanding critical thinking skills. Responsibilities change moment-to-moment and depends upon a scope of technology, leadership, collaboration, planning, and communications expertise. To be successful you will need to have solid experience with AV and communication technologies: everything from Microsoft Teams on Apple/Linux/Window devices to making sure all AV equipment functions flawlessly during Executive meetings. The C-Suite Executives rely on this individual to ensure that they can lead our Home Office site without disruption or distraction. Responsibilities: I want to and can do that! • Respond immediately to diverse requirements including critical device troubleshooting, managing executive expectations, fast-tracking requests that are handled by other IT departments, planning for upgrades, and installing new software and features, collaborating with technology staff and management across IT including digital, cloud, messaging, network, and security. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. • Maintain a deep understanding of HII-Mission Technologies' IT infrastructure, key applications, and cyber policies to function as a bridge between executive's need and keeping their devices and information safe and secure. • Constant assessment of all the executives' devices to perform troubleshooting, optimizing, and ensuring new software installation is function as designed. • Provide white glove customer service to the executives. • High level understanding of day-to-day support for Apple/Windows Hardware and Software and engage the Unified Collaboration Enterprise team as needed. • High level understanding of day-to-day support for various Hardware HP, Dell & Microsoft Software (Windows 11, Teams, Webex, MS Office 365 products etc.) • Build and maintain relationships across multiple internal teams including messaging, Networking, Service Delivery etc. to troubleshoot and assist with any issues. • Subject matter expert on Microsoft Teams and Webex for all supported Apple and Windows platforms. • Collaborate with other teams on issues and upgrades involving iOS, MacOS, Wi-Fi, MS products, Windows, Networking both at multiple HII-Mission Technologies offices. • Assist in all aspects of A/V and test prior to meetings and by on standby during these meetings to ensure smooth and issue-free delivery of presentations and conferences. • Document recurring issues into knowledgebase and notate incidents. • Coordinate resolution of issues through testing and troubleshooting, leveraging vendor support, and consulting with other internal technical teams to resolve as quickly as possible with least impact to leadership. • High level understanding of latest technologies and tools leadership may want. • Help enforce basic IT SOPs and Security Policies with minimal impact to Executive team. • Assist in projects that require changes to the executives' devices and make sure this happens in a controlled, scheduled, and safe way to eliminate any issues that could cause the executive to not be able to work. Requirements: I have already done that or have it! • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. • Demonstrated experience providing direct white-glove IT support to C-Suite Executives. • Experience in a highly regulated, compliance-driven technology environment. • High-level understanding of Apple Mac, iPad and iPhone troubleshooting. • High-level understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) software tools.(JAMF, Intune) • High-level understanding of Windows troubleshooting. • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to engage, coordinate and communicate to other technical teams and drive resolution as quickly as possible when issues arise. • Understanding of chain of command and organizational hierarchy. • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products • Experience troubleshooting Office suite products, Video conf issues (Polycom or other AV vendors), A/V issues and any technology issues the executive uses both on Windows and Apple platforms. In-depth knowledge in all Apple hardware and software. Expert knowledge of MacOS, Windows Platforms including mobile IOS/Android and deployment technologies JAMF, Intune • Ability to communicate the needs of users to staff in other IT departments, while interpreting technology requirements • Ability to prioritize and manage rapid and frequent changes. • Detail oriented and mindful about following through with tasks and procedures. • Ability to maintain, track, and report project status and metrics. • Reliable transportation to travel among sites as needed. Preferred Requirements Certification as an Apple Certified Support Professional, JAMF Certification CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network + Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
